applicable to operations teams at the company: Poor pay High stress Low employee morale Culture is very poor Lack of gratitude from management No positive reinforcement Only acknowledgement when there are problems High level of scrutiny Promotion process and salary increase is poor …ex: very possible that you will make less than the team you manage bc you lose overtime and the adjustment for that loss is terrible Inconsistent and unfair tuition reimbursement policy (discriminatory) No company holiday parties No group holiday parties Poor management at most levels* (there are a handful of good managers who want you to succeed, and who are willing to take time and offer advice, however, these are the minority and you must generally seek them out) Not somewhere to have a long career
