Pros

Pay is better than most jobs in Ames. Work doesn't do lay offs so there is a degree of job security. High degree of freedom in some departments. Some shifts are great and others have micromanagment.

Cons

Your day is full of broken machines from the 1990s that are patched together for one more year. You are often left on a machine you don't know how to operate. High turnover makes it hard to invest in new people when they will be gone next month. Almost no area to grow a career.
