Pros

Weekly pay and free food every now and then. Working here was fun for a few months til my Team Lead manager she quit and they replaced her with a guy. He was very rude, racist and not treating me as an equal. I would get written up for the stupid things that where not in the book.

Cons

They start you off with low wages and depending upon how the Team Lead manager feels about you. He then might give you a 20cent or 1 wage raise. They will work you hard for long, unstable and random hours that will stress you out. On top of that they give you 1Hr long lunch breaks, which will be deducted from your pay checks. The hours are never stable and always change every week.

Pros

Casual work environment. Hourly employees have direct access to top management and HR to discuss anything on their mind.

Cons

Top management and HR condones gossip and other undercutting behavior by some entrenched hourly employees. An environment of tattle-tailing and insecurity keeps people on edge constantly. Work schedules for hourly employees are painfully fluid. The huge store is staffed at the minimum level on a daily basis which results in poor customer service despite heroic efforts by many of the dedicated hourly employees on duty. Frustrated customers are a daily, if not hourly, occurrence. Company and store policies are vague, and store managers interpret them variously depending on their personal opinion, resulting in constant confusion. Conflicting job duties for many Team Leads and Managers makes success nearly impossible on a daily basis and creates an unnecessarily stressful atmosphere for everyone.
