Pros

Compensation is good and competitive in the industry.

Cons

Working across EU, US (EST and PST), AUS, and CHN time zones doesn't work. "Global" employees expected to be on calls at all hours. Terrible organization and Management and certain regions have more pull than others.

Pros

All Medical Affairs colleagues are lovely! The communication between units like clinical operations and clin dev could be a LOT smoother, but everyone is trying their best. Drug is a home run. I had a lot of autonomy at the beginning. Good compensation, A+ team. If what you want is to be a MSL for a large pharma company where your activities are carved out for you but may not seem very impactful or intuitive but you’re good with that, then you will like it here. People are really love in Med Affairs and most all other functions!

Cons

The regional marketing team is mostly lovely with glaring exceptions of those who would like to direct our activities in Med Affairs. So tenuous as to cause a toxic environment. Undermining, building slides decks from medical to present to KOLs when that should be the role of med affairs. Lots of BeiGene folks now in the field vying for attn of sites. Did I mention growing?
