Pros

Lots of support from leads. Very much encouraged and pushed to take the steps to further my career in the company. Flexible hours and understanding bosses when things come up. Pretty flexible and supportive of your choices on programs once you get your own cases. The leads will guide you and help you improve but they really encourage you to jump in.

Cons

Blurry lines when it comes to rules. I once got in trouble because I reported something I was told was mandatory to report and the head person on the case called the family first then called me to basically reprimand me for doing what I had been told to do. Some of the lead people are super supportive but some seem more judgy when you are unsure of what to do. Not enough reimbursement for cancellations. IF you get approved for collateral time, you have to show what you did with the hours. That's fine if you're a BT that has a few cases because there's always something to do but an ABT has nothing to do outside of their clients home and if there are no BT that need anything you're not compensated. If you're uncomfortable in a home, they encourage you to stick it out even when you make it clear there is something wrong and you don't feel comfortable. They do TRY to make arrangements but sometimes you're stuck for a week or two going someplace you don't feel is safe. You get pulled around a bit. I was eligible to become BT after 3 months because I had the education and experience but it took them another 3-4 months to finally place me. And it wasn't for lack of incoming clients because we kept getting kids and others would get their case. Very frustrating.

Pros

Flexible hours, good training, events

Cons

Staff is not so diverse. A lot seemed very judgmental towards family we worked with.
