Pros

Friendly associates. Great patients to take care of. Love my hours when I get to work them. Love my department PACU.

Cons

Not able to work my full shift when there are no more surgeries for the day. Other departments closely related to ours are able to stay for their full shift regardless of having patients or not.

I work with some great people and the pay is good. Seems to be a stable environment. Doctors are good group as well.

Cons

Poor corporate management. Decisions are made with only short term goals in mind. Obvious they have no clinical experience. Beacon cares about memorial more then Elkhart.

I am honored to be able to help people during their recovery. EGH has been part of my family for many years.

Cons

Insurance challenges which limit the help that patients can receive are very frustrating. Staffing shortages cause difficulties in day to day work.
