Pros

Beacon's leaders are doing a great job of promoting the values, encouraging positive attitudes even during challenging times. I enjoy my coworkers.

Cons

Since I am a part-time (PRN) employee, I don't have as much opportunity to be at the hospital as I would like. I wish our department could expand to provide more opportunities.

Pros

Non clinical staff have great flexibility with hours. I have worked at Elkhart general for 17 years. We work as a team.

Cons

It is hard to find help from finance and HR since they have moved to South Bend. Not always job security since we became Beacon.

Pros

I feel like this is a great place to work. It is like working with family every day. There are so many great benefits and I have never been happier.

Cons

There isn't much to say negatively about Beacon. I guess the only thing anyone can say is pay could be better, but doesn't everyone say that?
