Pros

I am new. I love it. The people I work with are extremely smart, talented, and easy to work with. Training has been one on one and very good. Benefits are amazing. Remote work and opportunity for growth exists as well.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to say.

Pros

I have worked at various firms over the years but no place compares to Beacon Pointe. First off, our CULTURE (even during a pandemic) is one of a kind. We spend the majority of our lives at work, so why not work somewhere that feels like home? Each team member feels like family, everyone supports one another and cares tremendously about the wellbeing and success of the next person. We enjoy day-to-day interaction at the office (or over zoom/teams) as well as gathering for office events and happy hours. The GROWTH PATH we offer new hires is also something to make note of. We provide our new team members with one-on-one mentoring, job security, and uncapped upward mobility. We not only want to see our team members grow within their respective role, but we also strive to help one another grow on a personal level. A common question during the interview process is what the sales / business development quotas are for advisors. This is something that makes our firm stand out. Every individual has their own UNIQUE ABILITY, so why make all advisors focus on the same thing? Some advisors have a unique ability to network, start new relationships, and introduce new business to the firm. Other advisors have a unique ability to maintain long-lasting relationships and provide ongoing comprehensive planning & portfolio management services. As a wealth advisor, you are given the opportunity to choose which path makes the most sense for you. Overall, I give Beacon Pointe five stars and am proud to call it my forever home!

Cons

Firm continues to grow at a phenomenal level. Although this is terrific, it can make maintaining the right work/life balance difficult.

Pros

Beacon Pointe is an amazing company to work for. There is endless growth potential and they want you to learn as quickly as possible. There is really no cap to your potential here and everyone wants to see each other grow and succeed. The culture is great - it really feels like a family environment. Unlike many other companies in the industry, the team and culture is built on integrity both within the workplace and in the work we do for our clients (which is top-tier). I plan to work here forever!

Cons

The main con is that there is a lot of work on everyone's plates, so work-life balance can be difficult at times. However, the company is always willing to listen and will hire if needed. Additionally, it is fantastic that we place such an emphasis on women in leadership. However, it would be great to see more diversity otherwise.
