Pros

Training is paid for and done remotely for the most part until it is time for field training. You are also able to create your own schedule. The children are also wonderful and it's great to see them improve their skills. I would recommend this job to someone who is going to school and looking to make some money on the side, but I would not recommend it to someone in need of financial stability and a full-time job.

Cons

Cancellations can be frequent and fill-in opportunities to replace those cancellations are often given very last minute. Drive time is only compensated between clients, so scheduling gives lengthy drive times during your normal commute so you don't have to be compensated. Supervisors are kind and helpful, but they are incredibly overworked so it's difficult for them to give BT's the proper supervision and help they need. I also had a bad experience where I was removed from a client and given a dishonest reason why; I wish all the supervisors would give honest feedback, communicate effectively, and teach BTs ways to improve.
