Pros

Most of the other BTs I met were friendly and few were helpful.

Cons

In the short time I was with Behavior Frontiers, my BCBA neglected her duties involving her employees and clients at the center. She had more BTs and clients than she could manage and she seemed to prioritize being present for the BTs and clients doing home therapy sessions. I believe this because her neglect of duties at the center was less likely to be noticed than if she neglected an in-home visit. Most days the supervisor gave no direction. She literally never modeled how to accurately implement any behavior-technician services for any client with me. She observed me in a 1 on 1 session on 1 day for approximately 15 minutes, and that was the only time we collaborated. If you want to grow and be supported as an aba therapist avoid Behavior Frontiers.

Pros

Some of the clients are fun to work with

Cons

• You only get paid for drive time BETWEEN clients. They’ll schedule you for a morning session 45 minutes away from your house, then an evening session 45 minutes away. No paid drive time. • Management doesn’t care about BT’s • Clients are not vetted. I was put in a dangerous situation with a client and physically harmed which forced me to quit. My supervisor, who was in the house, thought it was hilarious. • Client families will fight around BT and management does nothing no matter how uncomfortable BT is • Parents can be hostile towards BT • Pay is not even almost worth it • BT turnover is terrible because of these reasons
