Pros

-Genuinely friendly staff and coworkers -Kids and parents were amazing to work with

Cons

-Inadequate training. Hired despite zero experience in child care and often left with no supervision or safety net during sessions. -Superiors would promise assistant when needed but would flake and no show the day of. -Cancellations were rampant. Sometimes clients would cancel minutes before appointment times and I would end up commuting all the way back.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the work environment as well as the therapy you provided for your clients. With regard to our initial training program, it includes both virtual and in-person training by qualified members of the company. Throughout this process, we provide new staff with many opportunities to share any feedback, often resulting in additional training. To clarify, there are qualifications to apply for a Behavior Technician position, including college credits. This can be reviewed on any of our job listings. We are committing to helping as many individuals as possible start a career in this field if they meet the minimum qualifications, and many of our long-term staff members started with no experience in ABA. They are now successful in higher positions. The clinical team at the Rocklin center prides themselves on providing quality supervision and a clinical member is always present at the center. We also have policies in place to support Behavior Technicians if last minute cancellations occur, such as opportunities to fill-in with other clients. Pros

Behavior Frontiers has helped me progress my career by recognizing my hard work and achievement, and rewarding me with advancement. Almost every person in management at Behavior Frontiers was promoted into their role. I appreciate the way this company looks after their employees. There are also unique benefits that I have not seen at other ABA providers.

Cons

The cons are the same with any ABA company - inconsistent hours and client cancellations. However, Behavior Frontiers is working hard to solve this problem and does offer BTs fill-in hours and make-up time to keep their hours up.
