      Good Place for entry level mental health

      Pros

      The company and supervisors are all very helpful. It is great experience to have in the mental health field.

      Cons

      Can have cases 40 minutes to an 1 hour away from you. Hours are never guaranteed since clients can cancel.

      Pros

      The job times are flexible when you need to take time off to take care of personal matters. This job is also rewarding when you get to work with a client for a long amount of time to see them progress.

      Cons

      Due to the block scheduling that the company does, sometimes your gap feels long but not long enough to go home to rest cause you'll have to then drive to the next client.

      The work can be enjoyable if it’s what you enjoy doing.

      Cons

      Poor communication with the company. Last minute appointments. Eat lunch or take break in your car. Poor scheduling.

At Behavior Frontiers, we employ over 1,600 behavior technicians and we are happy that there are so many amazing people who find fulfillment in working with children with autism. As for cancellations, we do recognize that they may occur – often with insufficient notice – and that this is an industry-wide problem, so we are extremely grateful to the BTs who accept “last minute” fill-in sessions so that the children can receive their essential therapy!
