Pros

The training program is extremely impressive. There is a lot of room for growth with continued education. The benefits are great and the owners seem to care a lot about their employees.

Cons

There have been a couple occasions that I had reduced hours during school breaks; however, the company informed me of this possibility before I was hired.

Pros

1. Working with clients and seeing their progress 2. Great training

Cons

1. Fluctuating hours 2. Communication with schedulers; their job is stressful but it is no excuse for being rude and condescending to employees. I have been told there is no coverage when sick and expected to come into work. 3. There are no updates in handbook/consistency with certain "policies". a) When I was hired I was told employees are paid for 2 hours if a school client is absent. This policy is not always enforced –you are, more often than not, sent home with no pay if a client is absent. b) Sometimes employees are sent on overlaps after 1st cancellation, other times employees are told that "new" policy is 2/3 cancellations then one overlap.

Thank you for your honesty, we truly appreciate your feedback. We definitely understand that fluctuating hours are frustrating, but please know that is a characteristic of the ABA field as we work within school districts and people. As such during school breaks or cancellation, hours will fluctuate. We communicate this during the interview process so that candidates are aware of this before choosing to accept an offer. Regarding overlaps, I believe there may be some confusion regarding policy as BLN always offers an overlap to an employee who arrives to a session with a last-minute cancellation. In this situation, BLN offers an overlap to avoid loss of hours. If this is declined it will not be paid as the employee chose not to work. If a client cancels and it is not a last-minute cancellation, on the third cancellation we offer an overlap as a benefit to employees. This is because BLN loses money on this policy to ensure employees will not lose an excessive amount of hours. We appreciate you recognizing the difficulties schedulers deal with, and want to apologize for any rudeness you have experienced, as that is not in line with Company culture or standards. Please know that if you are sick, you may be asked to provide a note so this is excused, but it has never been an expectation that you attend session while ill. In times where you feel this is not the case, please bring your concern to Human Resources as this is certainly something we want to ensure is not occurring. If you are uncomfortable, you may provide an anonymous notice through our anonymous hotline. The link is on Workspace info should you choose to do so. Thank you for your review, we will certainly look in to your concerns.

Pros

Supervisors are absolutely amazing and the families you meet will change your life!

Cons

HR and Management will literally not care for you. You won't get your full time 30 hours as they promised, you will work hard for little pay, you will have to drive far with low gas payment, they will make excuses about why they won't give you your full time hours. They won't pay you for cancellations. You will literally have to beg for more hours. I do not recommend.

Thank you for your review of Behavioral Learning Network; however, multiple comments made are not true. Behavioral Learning Network provides overlaps after clients cancel, which is solely at the benefit of the employee as the Company does not make any money by doing this. This is directly because we care about our staff, and understand the difficulties cancellations can bring on an employee's income. Additionally, we offer 90 day reviews with performance based raise options, as well as a yearly review with the same option. If an employee excels in their position, we compensate based on performance, not just tenure. It should also be noted that BLN is always transparent in the interview and hiring process and does not ever guarantee hours as the nature of the ABA field is highly dependent on school and client schedules. Again, thank you for your review, but we respectfully ask that in the future you provide factual representation of your employment.
