      Pros

      Warm culture with many opportunities to interact with different departments, nice facility, fitness program, a company with great potential for growth

      Cons

      "Developing": weak leadership, lack of professionalism in some departments, outmoded/ inefficient business systems/ processes and many other things typical of a small company on the cusp of growth.

Those things have only grown since 2015. 2015 was a rough time for us in Salt Lake, you are absolutely right, we had our growing pains. We have managed to turn things around and are glad to see positive reviews coming in as a result of some changes . We continue to develop every day, but we think we learned some pretty big lessons and we are putting our employees first. Thanks again for the review and for the time that you spent at Beijer, Salt Lake.

      Pros

      I got to work with some amazing people and increase my skills.

      Cons

      The senior executives only focused their support and growth of the workforce with the engineer departments. They couldn't see that the admin & production departments were being over worked & unappreciated. Then when business began to slow they would lay off employees from the departments that were already short staffed.
