Great Place

Pros

Great place to work and team environment. Management strives to give you the opportunity to succeed and grow. Being in the Project Design department was an amazing experience. Everyone looks out for each other and works closely as a team to get the job done. Best part is they actually want your input and want to know your ideas, that's rare to find theses days. This had to be first job where I didn't mind going to work everyday. Belimed as a whole is great company with great people and you feel like part of the family.

Cons

Honestly have no complaints. It was a very hard decision to leave this place but an opportunity arrived that I could not turn down.

Systemic Problems From The Top Down

Pros

Any company you work for has a group of employees that are truly wonderful people and would do anything to support you and help you achieve success. In some respects, Belimed isn't far off. There is a small group of people that are truly dedicated.

Cons

The problem is that this group of people is getting smaller and smaller by the day. The good ones are leaving as if they are escaping the plague (enormous turnover). The plague can be isolated to the Executive Leadership Team who have created systemic problems within the organization. The leadership team is ill-equipped to lead. They have over-promised. They have mislead and outright lied to employees. They have done nothing to improve the work culture and inspire innovation among the team. My criticism of them is not because they are bad people, they are just in way over their heads. They have resorted to a fight-or-flight mentality to save their own careers to the detriment of everyone else who supports them. Switzerland would be best served to fly over to the states and clean house. Over the past 6 months, the culture has deteriorated to a point where no one is happy, no one is excited, and no one is inspired. The only way to right this ship is with some serious outside intervention.

Thank you for the very candid input. We certainly are concerned to hear this as Belimed wants every employee to feel confident in their leaders and their employer and would have the ability to thrive in a long-term employment relationship. Our leadership team, and specifically those whose title you call out, have a long track record of successful roles. The efforts of this team to make Belimed even more successful than it is now have been and will continue in the spirit of teamwork. That being said, there is always room for improvement and we will work to identify gaps and rectify those situations. Very sincerely, Joe
