Pros

Everyone seems to feel like family and Belimo is still holding on to its core values that helped to grow it where it is today. Work life balance is handled very well and Belimo is very understanding.

Cons

Some territories are larger than others and require more travel.

Benefits are good, BUT...

Pros

- Great Health Benefits - Very Proud Company Heritage - Perchance to travel (w/o pandemic) - Nice, new facility with plans to expand for more office space

Cons

- Enforces Connecticut's "At Will" employment; when questioned, may provide limited rationale for (subjective) termination (but distinguishes that it's still "lawful"). - NO room for upward mobility in Danbury Engineering (some in the same Engineering positions for 5-10 years; during my tenure, majority of new engineering job postings were in Switzerland). - During my stent, Engineering and lab personnel were all white men, with few exceptions (with diversity existing in other areas of the business). - Remote senior engineering management in Switzerland leaves feelings of them not being well connected or appraised of certain on-going's in Danbury. - May experience various (subjective) micro-manager styles here.
