Great place to work when there is work. People are great!

Cons

Poorly managed as a company. The company limits its growth opportunities by relying on legacy products and practices. The culture needs to change or there will no longer be a Bell Helicopter!

Pros

Bell employees have so much talent, experience and ability. They have a passion for the products they produce.

Cons

Experienced engineers and managers have been replaced with younger ones and it is costing more than it is helping the company. This new breed is running into the same developmental issues that were addressed and mitigated 15-20 years ago but there is noone left to guide them. In turn, it is costing the company time and money.

Good pay, insurance package, good reliable product. You can advance if you give it your all to the company, nothing else. There is an effort to introduce new products in the market.

Cons

You can advance at the cost of your soul. That means late shifts every day, be available at a moments notice, trade your family time for spending more time doing work. Come in on the weekends. Very tense environment. You just do not know if you are going to get taped on the shoulder to get laid off. Eventually, you learn how to daily work with that felling. In order to meet schedules, sometimes safety standards are overlooked....
