Pros

Great Pay, good people, hours, exciting place to work

Cons

Layoffs happen often these days. Seems odd they would have a Summer Intern program with so many layoffs going on. Some (many but not all) Union workers don't work very hard (lazy) and they have no idea how easy they have it. They should be more appreciative of their easy tasks.

Pros

Good pay, benefits (even though declining recently). Investing in new buildings and infrastructure, and have the desire to introduce new products to the market (V280, 525, LLS). GOB protects their own. Good and reliable product (old surpassed technology thought). Not bad to work for if you do not expect greatness.

Cons

They overextended themselves with their spending resulting in mandatory cost reductions and layoffs. The only profitable group of the Textron group until recently. They had to borrow money to take care of some of their financial responsibilities. Upper management is not open to new ideas and concepts that are being implemented in the industry for at least a decade. Non-deserving arrogance of thinking that Bell is the best in the helicopter industry (they are a legend in their own minds). Every year the weakest 10% of work force gets replenished, on top of any layoffs that might be needed for their business model in order to survive. If Bell can stay true to its new course for the next decade it might transform into a great company. So far, management is not instilling confidence in their new long term endeavor.

Pros

Good salary and benefits Good coworkers Products are cool

Cons

Some of supervisors have no clue of what their employees are doing. Don't plan for a long career there, expect to be laid off. No career advancement. Sometime feels like being stuck in the 1960s
