Pros

There's free lunch on Wednesday, beer on tap in the kitchen. You'll need it. There are some fantastic people there to work with. If you live in Westchester it's certainly easy to get to.

Cons

Everything else. Management is abusive. One half of the wife/husband team that owns the company yells and screams constantly, the other is just passive-aggressive about it. Constant insults, personal attacks, generally unprofessional behavior. There is no clear direction. Whoever is newest is their darling for a few months, until the next person comes along with a flashy new idea. This means nothing is actually followed through to the end, fully. Lots of half-baked projects and ideas, very few completed. If you think screaming is an acceptable management style, more power to you. I don't, and if you don't, run far away from this company.

Pros

- Laid back environment (customer service area). - Office Manager is extremely helpful (Nancy). - You will always have snacks and plenty of coffee.

Cons

- Top Down Management style, without much "bottom to top" considerations for improvements. - Privately owned company, so not many "checks and balances" in place for the owners. (not so much for Tom, but Sera) - The Call Center can be a little too laid back at times, although that may not be a deterring factor for most.

Pros

Convenient in Westchester County and not too bad for a reverse commute from NYC. A bit of a hike from New Jersey but some people do it. Many nice coworkers.

Cons

The owners second guess everything, nothing is delegated to you. Never once will they calmly tell you they don't like something, it is always that you are an idiot for not reading their minds, one owner more than the other. There are some people who are favored, it helps to have a connection with family or friends, whereas other people can't get anywhere and are invisible, it doesn't really matter what you have accomplished. There is a whole lot of turnover, basically if they don't like you they will get rid of you and tell you it was for budget reasons but often they will bring someone else in to do the same job. And yes, one of the executives yells "all the time" - not just now and then but there are several waves of yelling a day, it is no way to run a business! It is not a good idea to relocate to get here because chances are you will either get fed up and leave quickly, or you might not make it through the 3 months probation period. They really don't seem to know how to hire, either, as there have been many people that were a bad fit for the job they were doing and were out even before the 3 months. But they have so much turnover even in human resources so maybe that is part of the reason.
