Pros

Tuition Reimbursement if full time; easy job to get if unemployed and having no luck; higher pay than some other entry level positions

Cons

having come from a commission-sales environment, the money is significantly less; rather than giving pay raises when someone exceeds expectations, they just give that person more hours so they can make more money (helps the employer much more than the employee)

Pros

Good employee discount and you usually have some pretty cool co-workers to make the job fun. Fast pace during the holidays so the work day goes by faster.

Cons

Management seems to focus too heavily on numbers and sales rather than customer satisfaction. They won't fire you for not meeting expectations but you will be expected to do role-play scenarios all the time.

Pros

some relationships are great with employees.

Cons

currently no path, just being thrown in and told to get results and that the behaviors will follow? currently work/home life is not important to district staff...we are told that if we don't like it, then you can quit, and there are hundreds of people waiting to take your job. When concerns have been voiced...you are made to feel like you are an idiot.
