Pros

The people are great, I have tons of friends from Best buy and the discount is fantastic. They also had pretty good benefits if you get promoted to full-time.

Cons

It's VERY hard to get a full-time position there. Unless you kiss ass. It's very hard to move up at least in the store I was in, you had to wait for someone to move or die. Also, you try to take on a lot of responsiblity to get recognized but the pay for what you do is not even remotely fair. But thats retail for you. Plus if your family doesn't live in the same city you most likely wont see them for the holidays.

Pros

The benefits packages are amazing, the discount rocks, and its a solid place to work. The people are friendly and its a fun place to go for work.

Cons

The management team focuses so much on numbers and the advancement of their own careers that mentorship, direction, and good training suffers.
