Best Retail Job

Pros

Pros of working in a retail setting is simple; flexible schedules, learning environment, majority of the time, you work with good people who are there to learn, make a difference, and encourage their fellow employees.

Cons

Paychecks seem to be a constant con that comes with a retail job, I also do not like working on holidays. IE: Christmas Eve. Personally, I think that in itself is a complete travesty. But then again, I guess there are people who do not celebrate Christmas Eve or anything of that nature. Oh well.

Pros

Pay (started at $8.50/hour, got a raise to $8.75 after 3 months and another raise to $9 after a year) Fun coworkers In media, you always have music to listen to while working

Cons

Too much was expected out of the employees from the management Music gets extremely repetitive You have to pass certification tests which are extremely difficult
