Pros

You are given one raise a year. Easy to move up in the company provided you are full-time and willing to put in extra hours and work hard.

Cons

The raise per year was often the very minimum (25 cents), regardless of performance or hourly status. Management seemed more concerned about loss-prevention then customer satisfaction.

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and fun to work with. They do a good job hiring into the Best Buy culture. Coworkers are competitive in a good way when it comes to selling since no one is on commission. Performance is definitely rewarded by promotion, pay increase, etc. They were also very flexible as far as scheduling goes. Great online product training programs as well.

Cons

Working full time is a promotion and really doesn't happen often unless someone quits or transfers to a new store. Other than that, not really any downsides.
