      Amazing culture, but lots of change and uncertainty

      Pros

      Previous management had built an amazing culture of camaraderie and respect. Good work-life balance, flexible PTO policy. Very inclusive with opportunities for ERG involvement.

      Cons

      In 2024, top management was changed which created a lot of uncertainty and led to additional changes in mid-level management. Unclear vision for the product positioning in a super competitive market.

      Overall my experience with BigCommerce was a good one. They truly care about their employees and go the extra mile to develop talent.

      Cons

      Macro economic headwinds and stiff competition has made rocket ship like growth challenging.
