Pros

Wonderful group of people for the most part

Cons

- Everything is a fire all the time - "good" problems to have, as the business is doing quite well, but truly in spite of itself - The company has caught lightning in a bottle but continues to pick unnecessary fights and build unnecessary parts of the product while the core things break

Pros

1) Company is doing great financially

Cons

1.) Team culture is toxic -Everyone needs to be in office 5x a week, but there are minimal meeting rooms. People take meetings on hallway floors, storage room, etc. -Managers very quick to layoff people -Manager did not know what they wanted when they hired, no proper onboarding plan, very possessive of workload and little guidance. No feedback ever. Would not include me in meetings so felt very lost from the beginning. -Very loud and hard to get work done in the office - Cliquey culture and difficult to make friends -Unorganized -Support people like Michael Rappaport, who are not good reps for the brand at all.

Culture of fear

Pros

I like the neighborhood of SoHo

Cons

Everyone here is terrified of the boy-wonder CEO. Whatever's on his mind, hopefully you're not the one working on it. The culture is very gossipy. I connected with a few individuals, but noticed they were extremely reticent to have normal friendly conversations within the walls of the office. I have never experienced this kind of thing at any of the other many software companies and startups at which I have worked. Basic features are overlooked in the effort of chasing new verticals. For how hard everyone is working on the app, it's quite bad. You can't even set up auto-pay on their site; you have to do that on Wells Fargo's, with a completely different account and auth flow. I can't think of a feature more essential to a credit card than that.
