Pros

This is one of the most beautiful places in the country to be employed. It was a joy to drive in each day. I felt that management did a good job for the most part and tried to look out for the best interest of its employees. It was fun to work at a place where you are insuring that others have a good time.

Cons

While I thought my salary was adequate, I felt that some of the positions were underpaid.

Flexibility, great co-workers, wonderful systems in place for employees to benefit from both personally and professionally. Managers that care.

Cons

Seasonality (expected), short shifts sometimes (as little as four hours) - it is sometimes not worth the gas to work.

Pros

Biltmore is a very unique place to work. It is one of the most beautiful properties in the country. Overall the company philosophy and standards are very high. I feel the company really does care about the employees and the community. There are a lot of perks working for the company. We get free tickets to the estate and other attractions in the Blue Ridge Mountain community.

Cons

There is a lot of politics in some of the departments. It's hard getting weekends and holidays off. You have always be in a "good mood" even when you are having a bad day.
