The South Texas Blood and Tissue does help the community with life saving donations.

Cons

Poor benefits (401K is subpar to anything I've ever seen), work/family life, pay, hours, high stress, constant change of personnel, high turn-over rate, management micromanages as much as possible, no loyalty to employees, very minimal opportunities for advancement, constant feeling of weariness and no job security, attitude that no employee is valuable "anyone can be replaced", minimal annual raises, little bonuses, lack of innovation, not ideal for anyone looking for a long term career.

Good work life balance and decent pay for a non-profit. My teammates have all been great people that have become great friends.

Cons

Terrible benefits. Upper management is completely out of touch...they take employee dissatisfaction as insubordination.
