      Pros

      Giving culture, good work life balance.

      Cons

      No stock incentives, discouraging since CEO received $15M stock grant after 1 year. To many people in charge, no decisions being made.

      Pros

      work from home encouraged, the cafe is decent. Otherwise not that much is good much less great

      Cons

      benefits are expensive, everyone does three jobs, no diversity in workforce. Co run by older white men in SC, out of touch with staff. Compensation is very average and next to no training.

      Pros

      Mission of company is tremendous and customer base not only does great work but really needs technology support more than those in the for profit world. Company really does help make the world a better place.

      Cons

      Leadership is overwhelmingly short-sighted and unreasonably profit-motivated. Newest leadership has little or no understanding of the non-profit industry and wants Blackbaud to operate like any other software company -- but Blackbaud is most successful as a niche provider (albeit a major, large one) and shouldn't / can't be run in the same way that you'd run a software company that provides solutions to insurance companies or financial services. Ultimately, the non-profit world will stop seeing Blackbaud as a concerned partner, only as a profit-focused vendor.
