      Great mission, but not worth it

      Pros

      The remote-first culture and flexibility are amazing, and Blackbaud does great work that you can feel good about. This company is full of incredibly talented, kind people who truly care about their work. I am proud of what I accomplished during my time here.

      Cons

      The salary is incredibly low compared to other tech companies. I survived two rounds of layoffs in under a year, and one of those cut my team in half at the holidays. Just brutal. I was given more and more work beyond the scope of my job description, going above and beyond until I burned out, but my management was never satisfied. My role and contributions were not valued, and my manager took credit for my work to my superiors while micromanaging me and always demanding more.

      Leadership not focused on the right thing

      Pros

      Great employees and awesome customers. Mission is great.

      Cons

      Too focused on the shareholder at the expense of the customers and employees. Company needs to focus on our products and bringing them back to best in class.
