Great people to work with, although you can find amazing people at every software company!
Cons
Benefits- The benefits are simply OK. They do no legitimate competitive research against other software companies and they will try to tell that that they do. But it is clear to all of us that our benefits are not competitive. You can find incredible benefits elsewhere! Annual layoffs - I've watched way too many of my coworkers turned friends get laid off year after year. This is the 6-7 year in a row layoffs have taken place at Blackbaud. The company shows NO empathy or emotions towards ending people's livelihoods and careers. They do this EVERY year! Be careful choosing Blackbaud as your next employer, you very well could be next. I personally was not impacted this time around but will be looking for my next job given that NO ONE IS SAFE. Leadership- The leaders are way too removed from their people. They do not care for your wellbeing, and will try everything that they can to promote 'well-being' to the world, but they don't care. Posting on teams every other week about how to not get stressed at work while stressing out everyone just doesn't cut it as a 'well-being' perk.
