Pros

I learned how I would not run a company or branch. I have nothing good to say about this company. I made 3 friends. I guess that's the only positive thing.

Cons

There is a severe lack of training in all areas. From HR to management to tellers. They implement programs without having plans in place for certain situations. Management can can come and go as they please, leaving the work for the rest of the staff. Very hard to work in conditions where management doesn't know how to do the job they are managing. Managers aren't trained though and just put all the blame on employees. It's not ok to work 8:45 am to 7pm when your manager works 10-4.

Pros

Coworkers are amazing! If you can hit incentive, $1500 a month is a nice addition to pay and flexible scheduling. SPIRE is amazing at understanding "life stuff" for family emergencies. Great resume builder for well rounded financial position.

Cons

SPIRE is about the bottom dollar, 100% of the time. They want a good name and will risk losing employees to do it. The incentive program is incredibly difficult to attain, and it's more like a bank than a credit union. Every other Saturday's and a half day during the week gets wearing. Empty promises from management, and EXTREME lack of support from higher ups. Member centric, but gives zero credit back to the employee.
