Bloom is doomed

Pros

The only positive that was gained from working here is the skillsets because you will learn a lot and friendly co-workers that share the same stress load as you... That's about it.

Cons

Let's start off by saying that I was initially excited at joining this company, knowing that it was a new and different experience, but all that has changed within less than a year. If I could give this review negative stars, I WOULD! This company operates in ways that are ruthless, selfish, and degrades hard-workers (including contractors) in ways unimagined. Some managers don't care about their team members and won't even give credit to those that did all the internal work, so they can get all the credit by sharing with the executives. So much lying, backstabbing, and blaming occurs in this chaotic environment, and they fire or put people into fear of being fired if they don't go the extra lengths, which means working even longer hours. What this company is doing is extremely illegal to a lot of dedicated, hard-workers while favoritism is placed amongst those that don't even have a clue of what it's like to put in laborious, long working conditions since they're too busy taking vacations every month. What's surprising is how this company is surviving even with the negative profit! Well there goes your bonus...

Lost opportunities to grow

Pros

Challenging work with good people.

Cons

Lost its way, upper management is too busy towing the line to make hard decisions to make the company better in the long term. Environment is described as toxic by most long term employees. Key few people can make your life horrible if they think you're disruptive. Bloom has really lost its way.

Pros

Bloom is blessed with a lot of talented, passionate people who really care about making a difference and routinely pull off amazing feats.

Cons

Decisions are made top-down with essentially no input taken from engineers and operations personnel. Management structure and mentorship are almost totally absent. Short term, cost-cutting decisions by management cause long-term, expensive consequences.
