Pros
- Good pay, benefits, PTO - Very good people and culture for the most part (depends on the team) - Good work-life balance if you want it. There are sometimes long hours around big deadlines, but it isn't expected most of the time. - Cool projects and work - Opportunity to get good experience as a new-grad/early-career engineering hire. People don't care who you are or how much experience you have so long as you can do the work.
Cons
- Upper management - Too few people spread across too many projects - Lots of technical debt left over from when the company was just a few hundred people. - Fairly high attrition of people who have been at the company for a long time, so lots of new people who are just trying to get their bearings. - Management pretends it's running a lean New Space startup while cargo-culting Old Space processes without understanding what they're actually for. I think Blue will do great things in the next few years, but right now it's still figuring out how to be a Big Aerospace Company.
