Pros

GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT DOG, and GREAT MISSION. Yes, I wrote that in all caps because you have to like the people on your team. Easy to do here. The team has a strong work ethic and has a shared mission to deliver the best service and best results for both clients and candidates. It's a fun, family-like atmosphere--and a super cute, well-trained office dog that comes in sometimes, too. It IS still in start up mode, so company is still building and there is lots of opportunity to go in, make your mark and carve your own niche. There is a dedicated marketing team that helps create beautifully branded documents and forms, plus eases a lot of the administrative pain that most salespeople/recruiters prefer not to do. Like any sales job, your compensation is up to you--it's uncapped.

Cons

Full Desk Recruiting is a lot of work, so take into consideration at what stage you are in your career--and LIFE--and be honest with yourself on what you are willing to sacrifice in the beginning. You can control most of the recruiting process but not all of it. Know how much control you're comfortable letting go. Like any sales job, your compensation is up to you. The more you sacrifice the first year, the more you make in the long run. It IS still in start up mode, so don't expect to come in and start counting big dollars right away unless you come in with an established book of business.

Thank you for taking the time to review your time spent with Blue Signal! We love our collaborative environment and work hard to keep this important aspect of our culture strong. Recruiting can be cut-throat, and Blue Signal prizes itself on our team’s collaboration and support. We appreciate your feedback on our benefits offerings, and are working to get better coverage and lower prices for next year. Thank you for being a valued member of our team!

Pros

Smaller firm with a positive work culture. Blue Signal does not offer the cut-throat environment that I experienced in my previous firm. They offer several (4-6) different compensation plans for producers that seem to be a little above industry standard. Their health benefits could use some improvement & that is currently being looked into. Leaders are very passionate AND compassionate. They're always available to assist & quick to offer support when I'm out of office. Unlimited PTO after 90 days & 100% remote with the option to work out of the AZ office, which is currently being expanded. They offer back-end admin support for Recruiters & Account Managers when it comes to interview prep guides, contracts, leads, interview coordination, etc. This is something I never experienced in my 6 years in my last firm. This company truly does a fantastic job with offering white-glove treatment to both candidates & clients. They offer monthly reimbursements for internet & cell phone usage. Matt, the CEO, is still running his own desk & is in the field daily so he's very aware of market trends, making him a great resource & empathetic leader. He's very hands-on & present & operates with an open-door policy. Solid training!

Cons

They don't offer health/wellness incentives/programs/reimbursement at this time. Would love to see monthly reimbursements for gym memberships/fitness classes/etc. No PTO within the first 90 days. 401k is average.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience with Blue Signal. We love to hear how much our offerings are appreciated – thank you for listing out the behind-the-scenes of being an employee at Blue Signal. You are right that benefits offerings are being worked on for the coming year, and we are really excited to enhance this program. The wellness reimbursement is something the team has considered and is considering providing an option for this with next year’s offerings. As a small company, it’s a little tougher to get the best options compared to larger companies, but we are truly doing what we can to continuously improve these perks to our team. Thanks again for speaking to your experience at Blue Signal – we are happy to know you’re enjoying it here, and are thrilled to have you as part of the team!
