Pros

Blue Signal is a place that will polish the talent of aspiring and experienced recruiters alike. The company is led by managers who are recruiters and ACTUALLY recruit and do business development. This gives them credibility unlike some firms where managers used to recruit, but now spend more time focused on dashboard metrics and thought leadership. The company culture at Blue Signal is all about hard work and cooperation to reach goals. Recruiters are supported by a phenomenal staff of Marketing, Operations and Finance who do much more than "back end stuff". They enable the recruiting team to be their best by providing valuable resources for candidate relationship building and air-support for recruiter brand development. Blue Signal is also a firm that stands by their commitment to continued learning and self-improvement. There is a strong on-boarding program, a database full of training resources and regular team meetings to share best practices and industry updates. For those people who are willing to put in the hard work, listen and invest time in their own development there are many rewards to be earned at Blue Signal

Cons

At younger companies, the phrase "building the plane while flying it" is often used. Well, Blue Signal is in a similar situation as of the time of writing this. For recruiters who have large-company experience at other firms, the environment of a nimble startup may not jive well with running their desk. That being said, this con may be a pro for some who are looking for a dynamic environment where they can test and iterate on new ideas and strategies.

Pros

There has not been a day that I've questioned joining Blue Signal. From the beginning, I've felt like I'm not only a part of a great team but a family. The support from everyone up to the owner is something I've never experience at a company before. We all play a part in each other's success, which is genuinely refreshing and brings you even more motivation each day. This company is a place I'm proud to grow my career and call home. I would highly recommend joining the Blue Signal team to anyone interviewing!

Cons

No cons here! Management is always open to evolving and listening to the team's suggestions.

Pros

Blue Signal is great place to work if you are looking for a company that values culture, hard-work, and their people. The management team strongly believes that culture is the most effective driving force to a great work environment. Leadership is great. Managers are available 24/7 to talk. They have a stellar back office support team made of top-level marketers and sourcers so us recruiters can focus on what we do best – getting to know people! Blue Signal invests in continuing education and promotes from within. They provide weekly lunch n learn opportunities, have flown industry leaders in to speak with us, and are consistently invested in our career growth and personal brand development. This company doesn’t settle for anything less than the best and the awards they have won over the years are just a testament to that. I would not recruit with any other firm after working at Blue Signal. The competitive commission plan, support team and continuous investment in their people are unheard of in this industry.

Cons

Recruiting is a difficult business. It takes a few months to get your desk up and running. This requires very long hours including weekends. That said, once you put the initial hours in - recruiting becomes very rewarding: financially and helping your candidates/clients grow.
