Pros

I was hired by BlueForce for about a year as an office coordinator OCONUS. Unfortunately, the contract I was part of ended abruptly. BlueForce made sure to pay all severance according to law and made sure employees were taken care of promptly. Every step of the way they showed commitment to do things right and stood by employees.

Cons

This industry can be harsh. Contracts are usually for 5 years, but there’s always a chance that things change one day to the next. Not necessarily BlueForce’s fault but how this industry works.

Pros

Working for a project run by BlueForce was a great adventure and a life-changing opportunity. I got the opportunity to work among high level professionals, create a larger network, and support projects that create value for my country and community. I always felt supported by management and leadership, and that my voice was heard; as a working woman I felt empowered in my role; and my managers were always willing to support my professional and academic growth providing tools and training as needed. The salary I received was very competitive and far exceeded the local market rate.

Cons

Working in a multinational and bilingual company was a challenge at first but once I understood the communication channels and the tools available it became easier.

Pros

Vacation time. Arabic food. Coworkers.

Cons

My time at this company was deeply disappointing, primarily due to the corporate management's apparent focus solely on profits, often at the expense of employee well-being. Despite hard work and dedication, there were no raises, and job security seemed low, especially for American employees, as many were let go with only two weeks' notice to pack up and leave. In contrast, foreign nationals were retained, which created a sense of instability and unfairness within the workforce. Additionally, there was significant pressure on current employees to leave positive Glassdoor reviews, which makes me question the authenticity of many of the glowing ratings you may see here. It’s important to approach these reviews with caution. If you're considering a position here, I would advise you to think carefully and weigh your options. (Run.)
