Pros

I worked at the in-patient care center. The rest of the staff was very nice and respectful. The pay was exceptionally well for the area I live in. and the nursing supervisor was awful. I have never met anyone who had no compassion for their workers.

Cons

the nursing supervisor was awful. I have never met anyone who had no compassion for their workers.

Pros

Salary and Benefits are on par. Hospice work is very fulfilling.

Cons

Management is not responsive or helpful. Favorite employees treated differently than others. Staff expected to work unlimited hours, often late work days. Heavy staff turnover. Admissions take several hours, required to start admissions up to one hour before end of shift. Last minute requirements to pick up shifts to cover weekends, on-call and holidays because manager forgets to get them covered. Lie to all new hires and tell you 12 patients. Most caseloads are 14-16 and up to 18 patients with admissions. Rarely have the flex help as they tell applicants to expect.
