Pros

Decent pay for general labor. 40 hours plus with lots of OT. Small town and most workers work hard for the company. There is focus on safety and it is non union mill.

Cons

Wish just more update equipment on some things that could easily been replaced.

Pros

Laid back environment, very egalitarian. PTO was more than reasonable and the hours were the same everyday. Sales is empowered to negotiate prices even at low levels. Mistakes are expected and the management is more interested in solving the problem than finding who is to blame.

Cons

Not much room to move up. You're waiting for someone to retire in order to get good products to sell. Not a good place if you're not interested in being an entrepreneur type. A promotion here is more like a lateral move and because there is such low turnover there is rarely a chance to make a decent paycheck until you have around 5 years in. It's a very low pay scale.
