I have loved working for Bon Secours for nearly 20 years. The family feeling has been great. There have been ups and downs over the years and we have pulled together to make it work.
Cons
In late 2018, Bon Secours "merged" with Mercy Health. The reality is this has been a hostile takeover. Word from administration is "trust the process." It's as though they enjoy keeping us like mushrooms - in the dark and fed with manure. Even prior to this administration has never been great about listening to the little people. While direct management might listen to you, the higher ups keep their hands tied. Then, the higher ups will come down and hold a meeting so they can "listen" to you. In reality, they (specific example, Toni Ardabell) hijack the meeting and talk the entire time so that you cannot voice your complaints.
