Good progression over time for those who want it.

Cons

Unorganised management. Managers don't understand the role. Too many targets, things that are just to make money and don't always have a benefit to the customer, more of an annoyance. Simplification seems to just added more things for us to do, simplifying nothing!

Discount is okay, in the store I worked in the longest I've met some lovely people really nice to work with and fairly approachable managers.

Cons

Managers are never quite sure on how to get the most out of staff, work environment is constantly changing, in one year I experienced my hours changing 3 times. This can be more difficult for staff than they realise. In my current store I find managers are unapproachable and too busy to concern themselves with the staff, which I thought was part of their job. Not much room for progression unless you're male. Yearly bonus has been stopped and some roles are too stressful and pressurised and don't match the poor wage that comes with them.
