amazing colleagues, real team spirit and an okay discount system. I am currently training as a pharmacy technician which is very interesting but is done primarily out of work hours which is eating up all of my spare/free time.

Cons

when the going gets tough, there's little to no support for struggling stores despite customer and staff reminders. We need more in store visits from area and regional managers.

Pros

My co-workers are amazing, always helping each other out and having a bit of a laugh. Our store manager is a down-to-earth woman who is easy to get on with and is lovely to work for. Employee discount is fair and employees receive a second user discount card for their spouse or other household member. Work hours are flexible, uniform is provided by the company, and training via e-learning is always available to gain new skills or increase your confidence in every aspect of the job.

Cons

Sometimes communication within the team can be a bit difficult, especially during peak times such as holidays. The technology available to us is mostly outdated and can be quite a nightmare, particularly the photo lab. New employees no longer receive extra pay when working bank holidays. Uniform sizes are weird, I have to wear uniform 2 sizes up from normal clothes for a proper fit, but some of my co-workers need a size smaller than normal.
