Pros

The benefits are good, the work is easy, the salary is pretty high. Managers seem very open to supporting and encouraging a work/life balance

Cons

No thought given to matching ability level and experience with work given; employees seem to be used on an as-needed basis and management doesn't seem thoughtful about how they treat employees. I feel completely disrespected, while praised lavishly for accomplishing tasks that my dog could probably do pretty easily. Mind-numbing work.

Pros

- work/life balance (especially if you're not on client site) is great. Telecommuting from home while sick is fine. Having to leave during the day for doctor's appts & going home afterwards -great benefits (match 10% of your salary after 1 year and 5 years is fully vested so you walk away with free money) - minimum is 15 PTO days, 2 floating holidays, & 9 federal holidays. PTO days go up as you move in level & tenure - Loves to train (ex: you get paid to study for your certificaiton by taking training days) - Offices (not cubicles, you share it with 1 other person so get a cool person) Window offices are for level 3+. - Pro: They pay pretty well. Con: only if you ask for it. Make sure you research what your skill sets/strengths/position is "worth" in the market and don't be afraid to ask. They don't feel the need to go overboard and reward you with raises/promotions unless you specifically state you are going for it.

Cons

- Colleagues can be a little more older and less likely to socialize or really get involved with the firm's initatives (this can be boring for younger/junior employees who have more energy) -On-boarding process for new campus hires or experienced hires is HORRIBLE. -Middle Management sometimes needs coaching/mentoring b/c they are not the super managerial starts like upper mgmt can be.
