Thank you for the feedback. We are proud of our culture that rewards employee-owners through great growth opportunities and the ownership stake we accumulate through the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP). It is awesome being 100% employee-owned! Regarding employee-owner feedback, it is critical to our success as an employee-owned company. We believe regular conversations are the best way to get that feedback. We encourage frequent coaching and development conversations between employee-owners and their leader. We also have monthly employee-owner meetings where the state of the business is shared. It is also a great opportunity to exchange ideas, raise questions and provide input to our leaders. Being engaged in the business and providing this feedback is an expectation of our employee-owners. Finally, this fall we are launching a new survey process to continually gather employee-owner feedback about their overall experience at Border States. Thanks again for the feedback. Thank you - we are glad you are an owner and willing to share constructive feedback. Border States has a strong history of promoting from within to leadership roles. We want each employee-owner to have a development plan that supports their career ambitions. As a first step, please speak with your supervisor about your career to lay out a plan. Your regional Human Resource Manager and the HR team in Fargo will be there to support as well. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions. Mike Busch - VP of Human Resources

Pros

Shealy Electrical is now a division of Border States and the company is now part of the 8th largest Employee Owned (ESOP) electrical distributor companies in the U.S. By being a part of a larger company, there seems to be more career opportunity for those wishing to advance or seek new roles within the company. All employees are owners in the company.

Cons

Not applicable for the moment.
