Pros

- Cheap parking - Accessible; right off the highway - Salary is decent

Cons

- Unprofessional; employees bringing in their pets (dogs and cats) each day, walking around the office without shoes etc. - Dramatic; employees yelling at each other in the hallways; cliques conspiring to get others fired/quit - Meetings are pointless; each meeting stakeholders yell at each other and nothing gets resolved/accomplished - Managers don't manage. Instead of dealing with the social issues they tend to hide in their offices - Job description, job duties and mangers expectations are all different - Stressful and anxiety provoking each day

Pros

- The pay is fair at this hospital compared to other hospitals. - This hospital has good benefits. - Some of the people who work here (most technicians), are fine

Cons

Let's get started...... - First of all, the only way to move up in this place is to be a two-faced person and report ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to management. - Some technicians in this place will act as if they are cordial with you, friendly with you, care about you but behind closed doors, they will watch your every mistake in order to report you and move up in the "RANKS". - This place is very unfair in terms of rules and regulations (starting January 1st, 2016, there is no grace period and you will be faced with disciplinary action if you are even 1 min late, they have a zero-tolerance cell phone policy that will make you face disciplinary action if IT IS CHARGING ON THE WALL OUTSIDE THE PHARMACY, AWAY FROM THE WORK STATIONS). -There is so much tension in this place and people are stressed not because of the work load but because of the people such as the management team and the "cronies" of the management team. I made the huge mistake of trusting my co-workers in beliefs that we can work in accordance as a team but you can trust nobody. - Career advancement and Opportunities are a 50/50 in this place as few people in this place have made it out and made it to better positions and got promoted but those very few individuals were the cronies that told on other and made life like h**l for the rest of us technicians. -You can work your butt off and be the hardest worker in this place but if you are not liked or favored by anybody in the management team, then you are not going anywhere

Pros

none. The nurses are bullies and mean-spirited.

Cons

I was promised 3-12 mos training for a specialty I had never worked in. Within 2 weeks on the job, I was told that I had to be independent in 2 weeks in a critical care unit. No support, constant berating & scolding, abusive, punitive and demeaning work environment. Nurses are horrible and mean-spirited towards new staff. Tried as hard as I could, then was fired after 2 months. None of the training as outlined was provided. I was relentlessly pimped by a control-freak chief who constant;y interrupted my work flow with this pimping while I was trying to make a plan for my patients for the day. Ridiculous. Pimping staff??? Disrupting my work flow? Outrageous.
