Pros

loungefly, funko pops, lots of products

Cons

the WORST case of mean girl culture I think i've ever worked for. The discounts don't even make sense. literally, (I counted this morning) 8 excel sheets to set up for a typical retail day, and 4-5 you have to manage on a daily basis. Everything is ran through excel/outlook, which for a company established for almost 10 years and a parent that's been around since 1989, disappointed that it isn't more mainstreamed. Below average pay, especially for the volume the store puts out. If you don't make sales goals, by the end of the week they're making you take hour+ lunches, and sending people home. Oh, and now they're doing a physical sheet that's looking so closely at employee KPI's, its a recipe for disaster.

Pros

Awesome coworkers Good discount including sister stores Safe zone for everyone

Cons

Pay was crap Corporate made changes and added responsibilities without raising compensation. As a thank-you for staying on throughout the pandemic, I received a 2% pay increase... when you're only making $11/hour as an assistant manager, 2% doesn't make a difference.
