Pros

Really the only good thing was the discount

Cons

Fired for being late twice. Given “final warning” over the phone. Was never given a proper first warning. As soon as I got in I was fired making me waste $15 on the Uber there. Was told I needed to let them know TWO HOURS before hand that I was going to be late. Sorry I didn’t know my car was going to break down two hours ago.

Pros

company provides trans positive healthcare at affordable prices dress code is petty casual so you can express yourself (except for unnaturally dyed hair >:(

Cons

pay is absolutely horrendous. i live paycheck to paycheck barely able to feed myself yet company boasted about providing to food-insecure peoples. all product is overpriced and low quality, i’m surprised the company made it through covid with how inessential its merchandise is. like any retail job the upper management could not care less about the happiness and actual well-being of its workers, as long as we meet sales goals. no sick time or PTO for part time managers working 40 hrs. assistant managers doing equal or more work than store manager yet there is $5+ pay difference and benefits. dress code is loose but huge effort to not look “too hot topic.” no unnaturally dyed hair, an outdated and unnecessary rule. pay roll being so low than many times managers are left working upwards to 6 hours by themselves, no breaks. sales associates getting paid minimum wage for maybe 10 hours a week. retention super low

Pros

I'm passionate about what we sell. I enjoy connecting with guests about merchandise I'm passionate about.

Cons

This obsession with treating you like a commission employee when you're not paid a commission. Even when you bust your but talking to each and every customer. It's never good enough. Either you didn't smash daily goal or you didn't smash UPT or the APT is too low or the conversation is too low. The amount of times I've heard a DM say to just schedule everyone 0 hours or put them and kiosk til they quit is appalling. Dms will tell you they'll just head hunt from with the mall and replace you. You never feel good enough even when you try the best you can. You really want to make it happen and you feel like all your are is a let down. It's soul crushing. You give up after a while. You're coworkers are all ready to stab each other in the back just to get hours.
