Pros

Great workers, and great customer servicing can be taught here.

Cons

As a full time manager you are expected to work off the clock. District managers are spiteful if you leave stores/positions, the software they use for communications and at a corporate level are incredibly dated and will continue to fall behind the fast fashion trend if they don't streamline their processes. For the amount of work store managers do, they are not getting paid enough, we get paid the minimum a store manager should get paid and bonuses/ raises are promised but never fullfilled. If you want to move into being a district manager, you are told you must train to be a multi unit store manager, which has no pay increase.

Pros

Discounts are 30% in-store excluding promos and 40% at Hot Topic including promos and 50% at Torrid including promos. The products are fun and you meet a lot of like-minded people.

Cons

Products are cheaply made and overpriced. Hours are given based on how well your sales are so if you have trouble with that then no hours. Constantly either cutting hours or short staffed no in between. Plenty of OSHA violations and can't keep a backroom stocker if their lives depended on it.
