Pros

UTBS has been a fantastic place to work. They have competitive wages, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits- even a free daycare! You can tell how hard they try to provide quality services and advocate for their clients.

Cons

Sometimes things move a little fast and changes happen all at once.

Pros

They have some good people and the kids are amazing.

Cons

It's been several years to even be able to write this review because of the fear and anxiety I felt at this company. The leadership team actively aims to trap people into employment with threats and intimidation. They play mind games, filling you with confidence and then demeaning you into shame and self doubt. There is no long term path upward - those seats are reserved for family. They are snarky, unprofessional, demeaning and vengeful. They may treat you like you are the greatest team member ever one day and then a switch flips and they treat you like a problem. It is narcissistic abuse that has taken years of therapy to recognize and understand. Most people can't really grasp what it does to a person to work for an employer who behaves this erratically. The CEO in particular can be charming - even loving - and she is VERY good at analyzing behavior. In a way, she is absolutely brilliant and captivating - no unlike many terrifying dictators. She then uses all that information about your behavior against you at any time that it suits her. She's build a team of "yes ma'amers" - mostly family - to back her up and make you think the unreasonable is reasonable (skipping holidays, foregoing important medical appointments, working late into the night, turning a blind eye to questionable billing or treatment practices, believing other colleagues are doing things to hurt the company when they are absolutely not... that list is long). It's a textbook situation of a narcissist with no boundaries in charge. The ends always justify the means to her. The situation is complete with prolific gaslighting and "flying monkeys" to harass you if you question too much or try to get out of there. If you choose to work there, stay far from management and do your best to help the kids who need it. Beware of any agreement to pay anything back to the company for training, certifications or education. The FTC has put a stop to the aggressive non-competes but a company that cannot keep people through creating a comfortable (or even tolerable) working environment will stoop to other means and you don't want to get trapped.
