Working on-site at the greenhouse is a good experience, lots of team-work and good people. The biggest issues at Brightfarms come from those outside the facility. Long hours are required to pad the stats for upper management with little to no upside for hourly and salaried staff. Many employees here work from home and seem to not add much value, all while finding ways to add more work to the plate of on-site employees. I have heard Brightfarms called an “F-ed up game of survivor” where you can be fired on the spot with little to no warning so job security is mostly non-existent here.
