      Pros

      -Opportunities to work on many aspects of the business -Working cross functionally across the company

      Cons

      I don't know where to begin with BrightEdge and it's long list of cons, but I'll try -Micromanagement that comes from the top down -Cheap company -Company has no idea what it's doing -Expected to put long hours in with no appreciation -Lack of transparency (gossip or a game of telephone seems to be the best way to get any information) -Nonexistent work from home policy -15 days PTO policy - Massive egos -CEO is way too involved in little details -Major lack of diversity If you work at BrightEdge, expect to be unhappy sooner or later. You might start off excited, but that excitement wears off quickly.

      Incredible place to start a sales career and grow

      Pros

      I have worked for this company for 6 months now and can honestly say it has been an amazing experience. Before I started, I was worried about some of the reviews I saw on here (which is why I wanted to write this). It's rather obvious that most of the bad reviews (for sales positions) are from former employees who weren't fit for the start up culture. This job requires hard work, self accountability, and resilience. If you push yourself and listen to colleagues who are successful, you will be successful. The base salary is good, the commission checks are great, and the people are awesome. If you're looking for a simple 9-5 show-up-and-get-paid job, don't work here!

      Cons

      As I said, it is a start up. Sometimes it seems like there's a lack of structure within the organization. Although, this is honestly one thing that I enjoy about BrightEdge. If something isn't working, you can be the person to fix it. Leadership notices and rewards accordingly.

      Pros

      If you work in Cleveland or HQ you are royalty! If you are in sales, you will make a KILLING! Lucky you.

      Cons

      If you are in Customer Success you'll get alarmed by all the shady sales deals of overly aggressive sales associates. They get paid a disgusting amount of money and seemingly have no incentive to be truthful or solutions oriented. Gross. In CS, you'll be paid an average salary. Nothing extraordinary. The customers are nice but usually frustrated by the product and contract.
